Annalise is a documentary filmmaker, writer, photographer, and illustrator. Her work has been published at the New York Times, The Atlantic, Texas Monthly, Science Magazine, and the Austin Chronicle and screened at over 15 international film festivals. Her inability to stick to just one medium and her interest in culture, religion, and the environment can be blamed on her dual degrees in anthropology and film production. She has previously worked as a documentary fellow at The Atlantic, in post-production for National Geographic's Jane, and producing, shooting, editing, and designing commercial content in both English and Spanish. She is also a drone pilot and SCUBA diver that loves taking on projects under the sea or in the sky. She is currently working onboard National Geographic Lindblad Expedition ships as a video chronicler, filming wildlife and natural history across the globe.
