Annalise is a visual storyteller based in Washington, DC, where she is currently the documentary fellow at The Atlantic. Her studies in anthropology and film production at USC inform her work as a multimedia journalist with an interest in culture, religion, and the environment. Her work has been published at the Austin Chronicle and screened at Slamdance, AmDocs, Nashville Film Festival, DocLA, NFFTY, and the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. Her film credits also include stunt driver, gaff tape sculpture artist, and raccoon casting agent. She’s good at not getting lost in the wilderness, and can communicate ineffectively with squirrels.
